BIO: I started my career in photography with the U.S. Navy in 1970. A good job to have while the country is having a \\\"police activity\\\" in a pacific area jungle country.
Upon discharge I worked as an assistant to Taylor Lewis in Norfolk, Virginia. Taylor was shooting , architectural illustrations for Colonial Williamsburg, and product photography for national advertising agencies.
While teaching photography at Tidewater Community College during the 80\\\'s I managed to develop my own studio while watching my family grow.
In 1996, I was the first photographer in the S.E. Virginia market to go Digital Still photography as well as Digital Videography.
Today my passion is for architectural photography. I believe it stems from working with my father during the summer breaks of High School. Dad was a mason contractor and had me hauling bricks and mortor, assembling scaffolding, and basically building a work ethic. I\'ve never lost my love for the sculpture of buildings. |
